If you are looking for new music which is of its time but passionate, communicative and well-crafted, Robert Hanson's music could be what you need.

As an experienced practising musician, he has also made a large selection of practical and effective arrangements - particularly for chorus - and some performing editions of music at reasonable prices.

Until July 2007 he was Director of Music at Morley College in London and now works as a freelance composer, conductor and teacher. He has composed many works and has received commissions and performances across much of the contemporary music world.

His 25-minute jazz quartet Reconnection was premiered on the South Bank in April 2008. He also has a chamber ensemble arrangement being premiered in Brighton on 30 May and is currently working on a choral piece of 8-9 minutes duration Beyond that dim Horizon which is due to be premiered in London on 28 June.
